The 2026/1 Enrollment Calendar is now available.

Enrollment period for regular students: February 6–10: Online enrollment in courses offered by the Graduate Program through the Graduate Academic Management System (CAPG – Sistema de Controle Acadêmico da Pós-Graduação): www.capg.ufsc.br

Enrollment for students from other UFSC Graduate Programs: Starting February 12: Enrollment requests from students enrolled in other UFSC Graduate Programs will be accepted. There is no deadline for submitting requests. Requests should be sent by email to: academico.sipg@contato.ufsc.br

Enrollment as a non-degree student (external applicants or UFSC undergraduate students): February 23–26: Period for submitting requests to enroll in individual graduate courses through the Graduate Academic Management System (CAPG – Sistema de Controle Acadêmico da Pós-Graduação).

O Centro de Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina REPUDIA VEEMENTEMENTE quaisquer tentativas de fragilizar a legitimidade das unidades de conservação municipais de Florianópolis e, mais especificamente, de questionar o processo de criação e os limites das UCs Refúgio de Vida Silvestre Municipal Meiembipe e Refúgio de Vida Silvestre Municipal do Morro do Lampião, o que vem sendo feito pela Comissão Parlamentar Especial (CPE das unidades de conservação), instituída na Câmara de Vereadores de Florianópolis, tanto por meio de um Relatório Preliminar elaborado pela CPE quanto por ata da 8ª reunião ordinária da mesma CPE.

Selected nominee for the 2025 CAPES Thesis Award in the field of Biodiversity!

The internal committee of the Graduate Program in Ecology at UFSC, composed of professors Malva Isabel Medina Hernández, Bruno Renaly Souza Figueiredo, Carolina Levis, and Cristiano de Campos Nogueira, after reviewing the material submitted by PhD graduates who defended their theses in 2024, selected the thesis by Dr. Larissa Dalpaz de Azevedo, entitled “Entwined destinies: social, economic, and ecological dimensions of bycatch through the perspectives of researchers, fishers, consumers, and dolphins”, supervised by Prof. Dr. Fabio Daura and co-supervised by Prof. Dr. Natalia Hanazaki, to represent the Graduate Program in Ecology in the 2025 edition of the CAPES Thesis Award.
